School admin...

So after waving DS off at 2am I was lucky enough to get a lift back home and jumped straight into bed. I didn't really manage much sleep though so after DD left for school at 8 I went back to bed to catch a nap.

I was awoken about an hour later by the school on the phone asking why DS isn't in school!!!
When I explained he was on the France trip the woman knew nothing about it. After I told her there are about 50 children on that trip she just laughed and said "No wonder I have such a long list"
