Out of the blue a couple of weeks ago I had a message via Friendsreunited from an old school friend called Julie. It was a great surprise and I was very excited. We exchanged a couple of emails and arranged to meet Sunday afternoon at one of my favourite Wetherspoons establishments for coffee.
I had a lovely afternoon. Julie brought some old pictures from our school leaving doos and from our trip to Germany aged 16. It was great to talk about the old days and then to catch up on each other's news and we what had both been doing for the last 20 years.
The time just flew and unfortunately we had to say our goodbyes at 6pm as I had to get back to make the kids' dinner.
Julie gave me a lift home and we said we will definitely keep in touch and meet up again. She wants me to bring some of my photos next time so I will have to rent a van LOL.

It's really great when we have the opportunity to meet up with old friends and share memories. Glad you had a lovely time Jen. This could open up a whole new world!
