Lunchtime drinkies

Friday it was that time again when I met me old friend Lisa for a session in town.
We arranged to meet at 12 outside the council houses and go on from there. In fact as soon as we met we didn't even discuss the venue, we both just automatically walked to the nearest Wetherspoons pub where we had met last time. The best thing about Wetherspoons is that they don't have pumping music going on so you can just chat away and not have to shout your heads off to be heard.

It was a great afternoon of chat, gossip, bitching, moaning and a lot of laughing.
We stayed until about 4.30 but then it started to get a bit busy and the bar waiting time was too long so Lisa suggested we go somewhere else.

Talk about rough! The the pub we went on to was awful. Neither of us had been in there before and we won't be going back in a hurry. The Woman behind the bar should have given us a clue to run while we still had the chance...added to the hard-faced barmaid was the fact that they have obviously just had a paint job and it stunk. We didn't stay too long before we were on our way and it was time to get back home.

I stopped off at the Chinese on the way home for King Prawn & Chicken curry with a bag of prawn crackers to go with it.

Stumble UponStumble it!
