So here it is Merry Christmas!!!

Christmas started for me on the Saturday before as I went to my good friend Brian's in Nottingham for the weekend. It was meant to be a night to have a few drinks, get drunk and have a good laugh but it didn't quite go that way.

I arrived in Notts about 3.45 and went straight up to Brian's flat.
Bri made us Snowballs and we sat drinking and chatting. I don't like Advocaat at all but add a bit of Lemonade and you have something near to heaven.

Bri was thumbing through the TV mag and found that the final episode of Britannia High was on and it was LIVE well I don't think it was completely live. There was a live show but they were miming and the action behind the scenes was pre-recorded we think as there was a sync problem with the action and the sound.

Brittannia High was a bit of a let down and to be honest I don't think It will be back. which is a shame as the behind the scenes show was really interesting and Gary Barlow and his team of writers obviously worked very hard to get all the music just right.

Brian cooked us a lovely Paella for tea. I had a huge plateful with Seafood and chicken. It really was delicious and I wolfed mine down. However Brian started to feel unwell and was unable to eat all of his.
We did manage to fit in some Mince pies and Ice cream later though Yummy!!

He seemed to go from bad to worse after tea. We started to watch an old John Simm TV show (Called Never Never) on the BT On Demand service and I started to feel unwell. We had to stop and start the tv so many times.

We also had a visit from our good friend Tim but I felt so unwell that I spent most of his visit in the bathroom.
It was lovely to see Tim just before Christmas and in such good spirits. He had been feeling so down recently that it was great to see him happy.

After Tim left we attempted to watch the rest of the program but Bri fell asleep and I ended up watching by myself. It was quite funny as he woke up half an hour before the end of the show and put the kettle on for his hot water Bottle.

It was a shame that Brian wasn't feeling well but it couldn't be helped. I was feeling wide awake though and just lay there in bed for hours trying to make myself tired and hopefully drop off.

I must have finally fell asleep as when I did open my eyes, Brian was running the bath.

Brian very kindly treated me to breakfast. We went down into the Vic centre to Masserellas for a big Breakfast. You can choose from a 5 item or an 8 item Breakfast so we went for the 8 Item. I had 3 sausages, 2 eggs, 2 pieces of Bacon, a piece of toast and a Potato wedge. I also had a bottle of fresh Orange juice.
It was gorgeous. I really enjoyed it like Christmas day had come early. It was so lovely of Bri to treat me to such a gorgeous Breakfast and I felt well full & satisfied.

We went back home after for some Baileys before I had to go and get my bus home. I hate it when it is time to leave and I wouldn't be seeing Brian again until 2009 :O

Wow you have such a good camera, my buddha looks amazing! The tree looks awful though, should've posted the one of it lit.

I feel really bad that I was unwell, reading that makes me realise how it must've been for you!
