Weekend in Scarborough Part three

It was England's first games of the 2010 World cup and as we weren't at home we had to find somewhere to watch it. Down on the front there were several pubs showing the match live on big screens but they were all jam packed with people who had been drinking all day.

As I was making my way back to the beach I spotted a little bar called Bar2B that said it would be showing the game and giving out free Hotdogs at half time so although it meant climbing back up those steps... this looked like our best bet. It wasn't busy when we went in, in fact for about an hour there was only about 6 other people in there. It started to fill up as kick-off got nearer but as the whistle was blown there were about 50 people altogether.

I don't think I need say much about the game itself - Same old England just not quite getting there. Funny thing was I was taking a drink as Gerard scored that first goal and It took great control to not spit it out or choke on it.

The bar kept to their promise with lots and lots of free Hotdogs. Even Bill had 2 and she hasn't eaten a Hotdog for about 5 years.

At the end of the game we went down to the front to spend our last few hours throwing our money into the machines.

I tried a little night photography too but it didn't work out too well

We found a little all night take away and bought some food to take back to the hotel. Hot take away food is forbidden inside the hotel but it was a nice night so we sat on the decking at the front of the Hotel and ate our kebab meat and chips.

That was our little weekend break over. I am going to do a couple more entries with  more photos because as you can imagine I took loads and loads.

Thanks for reading :)
