Ding ding - End of round 1

Its play off time!
Derby County just missed getting automatic promotion so as they finished 3rd in the table they get to perform in the Championship Play-offs for a chance to go to Wembley and hopefully win promotion to the Premiership.

Today was the first leg against Southampton at St Mary's and live on Sky.

What a fabulous game. Derby didn't quite start as well as they could have and went a goal down but then they picked up the pace and Stevie Howard scored a beautiful header to equalise.

The best thing about the game was it was non-stop all the way. Derby are often quite crap in front of the Sky TV cameras but not this time.
My Rams Hero - Seth Johnson - played marvellously, The man of the match for me and Stevie Howard was there at every chance. On 57 minutes we got a Penalty and the game ended 2-1 to Derby.

The next leg at Pride Park is Tuesday night and as we have the lead Derby can play their game and don't have to play catch up. I can't wait and of they manage to keep the lead then its Wembley Here we come!!!!
