This week is going to be a tough one as it is a year since my Grandad died. I planned to ring my Nan on Friday anyway so at least I will be able to talk to her and make sure she is OK.
Yesterday I got an email notification from Myspace that I had a message from a Griffin pal of mine. So excitedly I went over to Myspace to read the message. Usually when I get a message from her it is because she has found another little hidden Alistair gem or about a gig coming up.
When I read the message I Gulped. I couldn't take in what the words said. Tears began to fall and I read it over and over again.
The message wasn't from my friend but from her family informing her friends that she passed away suddenly on Wednesday from pneumonia.
Shellshocked is the only words I can think of to describe how I am feeling so I can only imagine how her family feel.
Well actually I know exactly how her family feel because I have been through it. My mum also died suddenly from Pneumonia and I didn't get to say goodbye to her either.
RIP Jude! You have been a great friend to me - Unconditionally! You were a wonderful inspiration to many of us and you will be sadly missed.
